This role requires demonstrated experience in developing test procedures, preparing hardware and facilities for hot-fire testing, troubleshooting complex integration issues and mentoring junior engineers. This position reports to the Systems Engineering Manager and is part of our Strategic Systems Department. This role can be based in either Reno, NV or Folsom, CA. In this role, the essential functions are: Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures and requirements for rocket motor testing and subsystem verification. Lead integration and checkout of propulsion, avionics, and control systems in support of rocket motor test campaigns. Plan and coordinate all pre-test activities, including instrumentation wiring, sensor calibration, control system verification, and DAQ integration. Ensure test facilities and support equipment are properly configured for hot-fire testing. Support and lead Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) to ensure compliance with program and safety requirements.
