The role leads complex defense and aerospace programs, providing technical direction, programmatic oversight, systems engineering execution, and team development. The position reports to the Director of Engineering and is part of the Controllable Solid Propulsion department based in Folsom, CA. This role is hybrid or remote and can be based in Folsom, CA, Reno, NV, Huntsville, AL, Long Beach, CA or Remote. In this role, the essential functions are: Serve as chief project engineer or senior technical lead for large, multi-phase, or multi-contract defense and aerospace programs. Define and guide system architecture, integration, and verification strategies aligned with customer and mission objectives. Oversee engineering execution across multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and major subcontractors, ensuring technical, cost, and schedule compliance.
