Job Summary Langan is seeking a Senior Biologist to join its collaborative team in Los Angeles, CA. This individual will support a broad range of infrastructure, transportation, utility, energy, and development projects throughout Southern California. Responsibilities include leading biological resource surveys, special-status species investigations, permitting support, biological monitoring, restoration monitoring, and regulatory compliance activities. Job Responsibilities Lead nesting bird surveys, biological resources and habitat suitability assessments, vegetation communities classification and mapping, plant and animal species inventories, special status plant and animal species surveys, jurisdictional delineations, resource constraints analyses, and tree surveys; Develop permit application packages for ACOE, CDFW, USFWS, and local agencies; Coordinate with field teams and project managers to implement permit conditions; Travel to job sites in ;remote locations; and, Work in construction environments where schedule, timeliness, and attention to detail are top priorities.
