Job Summary Langan is seeking a ;Staff Civil Engineer – Hydraulic and Hydrology ;to join its collaborative team in Austin, TX. ;This individual will serve a key function in assisting with H&H design, permitting, and analysis of engineering and environmental projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in site/civil engineering design for industrial, mixed-use, residential, higher education, federal, and other exciting land development projects in a continuous learning environment. Job Responsibilities Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling solutions for various public and private client projects; provide analysis for specific portions of broader engineering and environmental projects; Assist with the preparation and modification of various engineering documents including reports, design plans, specifications, construction schedules and engineer’s estimates for projects using engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.); Effectively use available maps, drawings, engineering plans/reports and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics and topographical and geologic data and their impact on the planning and design of projects; Recommend new approaches and ideas that continuously improve efficiency and services performed; Apply kno..
