Summary of the Position Work is performed onsite in Carthage, TN. This is an hourly entry level production manufacturing position and relocation is not available. Work environment is not temperature controlled. Position Hours: 1st shift 6:00am - 4:30pm ; 2nd shift - 4:30pm - 3:00am Monday - Thursday. Overtime varies for Friday and Saturday and may be mandatory.Job Responsibilities Summary of Position The position of Production Lead is considered an entry level position for those who have expressed an interest in and have displayed abilities to lead, supervise, and coordinate the activities of workers as assigned by the areas of responsibility to deliver value to internal and external customers. This position always requires a high regard for safety in performing any tasks associated with working for Harris Products Group. Key Deliverables Works safely and supports safety within their team across the organization. Executes daily production plan to have all necessary machines up and running to scheduled plan. Supports lean initiatives to facilitate team goals/metrics. Participates in team meetings and works on cost savings projects. Key Accountability Metrics It is very important as the lead to understand each of the metrics, how they impact the department and how you can assist with controlling them.
