Responsible for working with nutrionists to improve patients wellbeing by providing dietary support Provides nutritional care and follows up with patients Communicates patients nutritional information appropriately to other health professionals Principal Accountabilities 1 Coordinates patients meal plans with healthcare professionals and nutritionists2 Takes patient meal orders via phone and at the bedside3 Assists with meal selections while taking into consideration cultural andor religious preferences4 Monitors patient meal tickets this includes reviewing and modifying as needed to comply with prescribed diet order5 Processes new diets changes tube feedings and NPO orders efficiently while keeping accurate records6 Performs other related duties as assignedrn
