Responsible for preparing and operating xray equipment during diagnostic patient exams while exercising procedures safely and accurately to capture specific images ordered by a physician to aid in patient diagnosis Principal Accountabilities n 1 Prepares equipment for imaging tests based on physicians orders and in adherence to department safeguards and protocols to ensure quality resultsn 2 Prepares patient and performs radiology proceduresn 3 Demonstrates competency in the delivery of care and clinical techniques with scope of practice such as basic CPR vital signs visual acuity electrocardiogram wound care including suture setup orthopedic splinting Point of Care testing assisting with eye and ear irrigation blood glucose checks and throat swab specimen collection and responding appropriately to emergency situationsn 4 Maintains records and logs as required by department protocols and licensure requirementsn 5 Performs incidental general office duties to include answering phone scheduling filing maintaining patient records ordering suppliesn 6 Other relevant duties as assigned
