Atlantic Health Newton Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Environmental Aide I Housekeeping for the Environmental Services Department Required hours varyincluding every other weekend Starting rate 2121hr This position is eligible for the Atlantic Health System teenhiring initiative specific shifts Essential FunctionResponsibilities General cleaning empty trash highlow dusting mop floors sanitize all furniture inpatient rooms clean commode clean bathrooms and discard debris remove soiled linen and replace with fresh linen in patient rooms Position includes cleaning of bodily fluids Requirements HS Diploma or GEDEquivalent required or will obtain within 1 year of employment To provide a safe environment to our patients we require that all candidates must be able to read write and speak English Solid work history a must Need to meet the fit testing requirement Must be able to lift push pull up to 50 lbs Must be 16 or older prior to hire must complete NJA300 Combined Certification FormWorking Papers If 16 or 17 yearsold valid working papers required Relevant Experience Prior experience in housekeeping in either a hospital or institutional setting or a related field preferred Prior Floorcare experience preferred 12 years of customer service experience in healthcare hospitality or relevant area preferred
