Custodian Pay 1850hour Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Custodian to help maintain a clean safe and sanitary facility This position is responsible for cleaning offices restrooms break rooms warehouseterminal areas and outdoor areas while following company sanitation and safety standards The ideal candidate is reliable detailoriented comfortable working independently and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe work environment Responsibilities Clean facility and terminal areas using hand brooms power scrubbers sweepers and vacuum cleanersSweep mop vacuum and maintain floors throughout the facilityRemove trash and refuse from offices restrooms break rooms and other designated areasKeep trash containers clean and properly maintainedRestock restrooms and other areas with necessary suppliesMaintain clean and sanitary restrooms break rooms and common areasHelp move relocate and adjust office furniture as neededMonitor pest control systems and report any issuesMaintain company grounds and parking areas free of litter and debrisRemove ice and snow from pedestrian walkways and parking areas as neededComplete required reports related to labor equipment repairs and maintenanceMaintain accurate records and logs of equipment repairs and maintenanceReport safety hazards or facility concerns to the appropriate supervisorFollow OSHA MSDSSDS and company safety and sanitation proceduresPerform other custodial and facilityrelated duties as assigned by the Operations Manager Qualifications Previous custodial janitorial housekeeping or facility maintenance experience is preferred but not requiredAbility to operate basic cleaning equipment and toolsStrong attention to cleanliness and detailDependable and able to follow instructionsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work in varying facility conditionsAbility to safely lift move and handle cleaning supplies and equipmentAbility to follow OSHA and workplace safety requirementsIND2
