Shipping Clerk Pay 1800hourSchedule 1200 PM 830 PMDays Monday Saturday Sundays and one day off a week Job Summary We are hiring a detailoriented Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping operations in a fastpaced refrigerated warehouse environment This position handles shipping documentation order entry pick tickets Bills of Lading BOLs inventory transactions and communication with warehouse sales drivers and carriers The ideal candidate is organized accurate comfortable working with computer systems and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy warehouse environment Key Responsibilities Process and maintain accurate shipping and order information in the warehouse or ERP systemEnter product receipts shipments inventory activity and order updates into the systemMonitor orders throughout the day for new orders changes and special requirementsGenerate and print pick tickets for warehouse personnelDistribute pick tickets and shipping paperwork to the appropriate warehouse teamsVerify pick tickets tallies quantities and shipping documents for accuracyPrepare and organize Bills of Lading BOLs and supporting shipping documentationEnsure paperwork is matched to the correct shipment and carrierMonitor trucks as they arrive and coordinate required shipping documentationIdentify and communicate order discrepancies or variances to supervisors Qualifications High school diploma or GED required23 years of shipping receiving logistics warehouse administration or recordkeeping experience preferredExperience in produce food distribution manufacturing or warehouse operations is a plusExperience with ERP WMS or warehouse management softwareExperience with FAMOUS or similar ERP systems is a plusIntermediate Microsoft Office skillsStrong data entry and recordkeeping skillsGood math numerical and problemsolving abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong written and verbal communication skills Working Conditions Work in a refrigerated warehouse environment generally 4555FWarehouse may be noisy due to packaging equipment and forklift trafficCombination of computeroffice work and time spent in the warehouseAbility to sit andor stand for extended periodsFrequent walking standing bending twisting reaching and handling products or packaging
