Assembly Worker 1st Shift 1800hr 600am600pm 3rd Shift 1900hr 600pm600am We are hiring multiple dependable Assembly Workers to join a growing manufacturing team in Streetsboro Ohio This is a fulltime entrylevelfriendly opportunity with 12hour rotating shifts Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred but not required Training may be available for qualified candidates Job Summary The Assembly Worker is responsible for assembling plastic parts and subassemblies used to produce consumer products Employees will perform a variety of production assembly trimming inspection and packaging duties while maintaining quality and production standards Employees may rotate between different workstations based on production needs and will work as part of a team in a fastpaced manufacturing environment Responsibilities Assemble plastic parts and components according to specificationsPosition parts correctly and fasten components using screws bolts snaps and other methodsWork on an assembly line and complete assigned production tasksTrim excess plastic or mold material using hand tools and cutting toolsUse a torch to reduce or eliminate minor cosmetic defects such as scratches trim marks and white hazeVisually inspect products to ensure they meet quality standardsAssemble and prepare boxes for finished productsGather and organize packaging suppliesStretchwrap completed product bundlesRotate between workstations as production needs requireMaintain a clean organized and safe work area throughout the shiftFollow all safety quality and production proceduresMeet established production requirementsPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications Entrylevel candidates are welcome to applyPrevious manufacturing assembly production or warehouse experience is a plusAbility to work in a fastpaced manufacturing environmentAbility to follow basic written and verbal instructionsBasic reading and math skillsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to multitask and work at different production stationsDependable attendance and punctualityAbility and willingness to learn to use hand and power tools Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periodsFrequent use of hands and fingers for assembly and production tasksAbility to reach walk stoop kneel crouch and bendAbility to occasionally lift and move up to 50 poundsAbility to perform repetitive assembly and production tasksAbility to visually inspect products for quality and defects Work Environment Fastpaced manufacturing and production environmentFrequent exposure to heatOccasional exposure to moving mechanical equipment fumes or airborne particlesNoise levels may be loudEmployees must follow all applicable workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements IND2
