Bookkeeper Pay: $19.00 per hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day financial operations of a well-established, locally owned business. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and payroll, completing reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting and tax preparation. Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting softwarePerform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account analysisComplete balance sheet and daily bank reconciliationsManage accounts payable and ensure timely payments after management approvalPrepare and submit payroll information accurately and on time to an outsourced payroll providerPrepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statementsOrganize financial documentation for CPA and annual workers' compensation auditsAssist with tax preparation by organizing required financial documentationMaintain confidentiality of sensitive financial informationPerform accurate data entry and 10-key typingSupport other accounting and administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Previous experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting roleStrong understanding of accounting principles and GAAPExperience with general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliationsExperience performing bank reconciliationsProficiency with Microsoft Excel and WordExperience with accounting software; QuickBooks or similar systems preferredPayroll and tax experience is a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently Why Apply?
