Maintenance Technician – 2nd ShiftShift: 1st Shift, 6am-4:30pm Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a food manufacturing facility by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment. This role is essential to keeping operations running safely and efficiently while meeting USDA/FDA food safety standards. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipmentPerform preventive maintenance and emergency repairsInstall, assemble, and maintain machinery and electrical systemsRead and interpret schematics and equipment manualsWeld or fabricate parts as neededMaintain accurate maintenance records in a computerized systemFollow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety proceduresSupport production and perform other maintenance duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferredStrong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skillsExperience with PLCs, VFDs, and ammonia refrigeration systems is a plusHigh school diploma or GED preferredAbility to work overtime as neededComfortable working in a refrigerated environment (35°F–45°F)Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
