Position Title:Facility Service WorkerJob Code:Job Code: FASWKRPay Range:$24.46 - $34.48Job Description:FLSA Non-ExemptRepresentedSummaryPerform a variety of building and grounds maintenance duties including cleaning, repairing, grounds upkeep, and maintenance of shop equipment, facility parking lots, park and ride lots, bus stops, and signs.Scope of ResponsibilityThe incumbent will perform regular and recurring work situations involving a moderate degree of complexity and operate from established and well-known policies, procedures and safety practices. All work will be performed in accordance with safety procedures. Individuals assigned to this classification perform proficiently and independently under the general direction of the Facility Maintenance Manager and Lead Facility Maintenance Worker.Responsible to assure thoroughness and quality to prevent potential liabilities for equipment related accidents and to see that work is performed in accordance with sound safety practices.Essential FunctionsThe following summarizes the essential or key responsibilities/attributes of the position the incumbent will be required to perform with or without reasonable accommodation:Operate vehicles such as transit coaches and support vehicles as authorized and necessary to accomplish primary responsibilities.Monitor security of assigned equipment and facilities. Report unusual conditions to supervisor or police department as conditions warrant.Clean bus shelters, transit centers, and park and rides to include picking up trash, pressure washing, and biohazard cleanup. Remove trash from bus service stops.Sweep parking lots and streets at all C-TRAN facilities.Perform light carpenter work and basic building maintenance to include changing light bulbs, shutting off leaking plumbing fixtures, resetting switches, and clearing plugged commodes and drains, etc.Perform basic grounds maintenance, including lawn mowing, edging, and weeding, as required at C‑TRAN’s main facility, tran
