When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.Per Diem; varied hours/shifts according to operational needJob Description:Duties/Responsibilities• Assess physical, mental, and psychological status of patient using age-appropriate knowledge.• Plans, evaluates, and supervises care of all patients assigned.• Works collaboratively with other disciplines in care of patients.• Participates in formal and informal educational programs to improve technical skills.• Responsible for continued learning and application to practice.• Synthesizes patient care information to formulate appropriate nursing diagnosis.• Responsible to provide patient and family education.• Work practice reflects philosophy purpose and policies of the hospital department.• Assesses and directs care for all breastfeeding women on the BirthPlace and in the Nursery.• Acts as a liaison for staff in the hospital for women who are breastfeeding.It is understood that this is a summary of key job functions and does not include every detail of the job that may reasonably be required.Education/Experience Required• Graduate - approved School of Nursing• B.S.N. preferred• Postpartum / Mother Baby experience requiredRegistration/Certification• Current RN License, Massachusetts• I.B.C.L.C. • NRP• AHA BLS Pay Range: $37.14 - $76.08The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
