In this Underground Specialist – Digital Solutions role, you will lead the commercialisation and implementation of innovative digital solutions that enhance underground mining operations. We're seeking a customer-focused professional with experience in underground mining, mining technology, and stakeholder engagement who can influence teams, deliver exceptional customer outcomes, and drive operational excellence. While based in our Perth office, you'll spend much of your time supporting customer sites across the region on an 8-days-on, 6-days-off roster.What you will be doing The Underground Specialist – Digital Solutions plays a key role in promoting and delivering Orica’s Blast Design suite of technologies across the mining industry. Acting as a trusted technical expert and representative of Orica at customer sites, the successful candidate will champion safety, ensure compliance with Orica and customer standards, and support the deployment of software and hardware solutions. The role is also responsible for developing scalable systems, processes, and procedures to support the rollout of underground blasting and digital technologies across the AusPac region. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and regional Digital Specialist teams, this position will drive customer adoption of underground mining technologies through demonstrations, implementation projects, ongoing support, and stakeholder engagement.
