When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.Under general supervision and based on physicians orders, the Stress/EKG Technician performs a wide variety of cardiology testing, including holter monitor placement/scanning, stress testing, and report processing/documentation functions for both inpatients and outpatients, for use in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac diseases and conditions.Job Description:QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Education:Requires H.S diploma or equivalent.Graduate of a Medical Assistant or Stress Testing/EKG training program preferred.Licensure/Certifications:BLS/CPR Certification required. ACLS preferred.Minimum Experience:1-2 years' work related experience required.1-2 years stress testing experience preferredAdvanced EKG interpretation skills preferred.Ability to perform manual blood pressure checks.I.V. start experience preferred.Knowledge and experience with cardiology setting.
