The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform technically competent and timely Nuclear Medicine procedures, maintain quality consistent with established technical standards under the direction of the Chief of Radiology, Radiation Safety Officer and the Director of Radiology. Primary duties include strict quality control, preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals and performance of high quality imaging procedures under the direction of the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, Chief of Radiology and Cardiology, Radiation Safety Officer, and the Director or Radiology and Cardiology Services.It is understood that this is a summary of key job functions and does not include every detail of the job that may reasonably be required.Required Qualifications:Graduate of a formal Nuclear Medicine Program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification BoardLicensure/Certifications:Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologists License: Category Nuclear MedicineCurrent registration in Nuclear Medicine NMTCB and/or ARRT NMBLS/CPR Certification RequiredMinimum Experience:3+ years' work related experience preferredOther Skills Required:Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or AccessAbility to rely on experience, judgment and time management skills to plan and accomplish goalsAbility to work cooperatively with me
