As a key member of the team, you will help protect Gartner's people, brand, and operations by leading security and safety programs for high-profile events, managing risk in dynamic environments, and partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders. What you will do:Assess, identify, and implement appropriate security and safety standards, guidelines, plans, and measures for Gartner events based on type, location, and risk profilePartner with Gartner Conferences and events teams to determine and implement appropriate security measuresManage event security vendors ensuring that security planning and on-site security is executed to Gartner standardsManage relationships with venue security & safety teams, venue management, and local law enforcement in Gartner event locationsEnsure that Gartner events, venues, and vendor services meet all legal requirements for security and health & safetyManage event security vendors to ensure optimal performance and excellent customer serviceImplement event security crisis management plans and processes.Respond to emergencies as they arise, ensuring proper communication is sent out to those involved and/or affected, while maintaining proper client/security relationships through the contact and support.Execute against executive and VIP security standards and measures.Partner with GSS partners to ensure that event-specific intelligence gathering and notification processes are in place.Liaise
