About the unitThis is a 7-bay hemodialysis inpatient unit staffed with RNs and hemodialysis technicians. These team members care for the acute renal failure patient as well as chronic patients with end stage renal disease. Treatments may be given within the hemodialysis unit as well as within the critical care and medical units at bedside. The group possesses many years of dialysis experience.
