About the unitThe Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital PICU/PCICU was recently awarded the Beacon Award at the highest level of Gold. We are the only PICU to receive this recognition in Michigan. There are only 33 PICUs in the nation that have received Beacon status and only 12 of them Gold status.
