The candidate will provide analysis, will process and normalize the data to ensure data integrity and will create queries, views and reports.QualificationsInterpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reportsDevelop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data qualityAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in a complex data setFilter and scrub data, and review reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problemsLocate and define new process improvement opportunitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyGood knowledge of MS Excel - able to use formulas and pivot tablesGood knowledge of MS WordAttention to detail, ability to learn new tasks quicklyGood with numbers, ability to work independently and as part of team, good problem-solving skillsNice to have: insurance knowledge/backgroundAdditional InformationBachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or related field required
