Company Description The Dr. Margarete Fischer-Bosch Institute of Clinical Pharmacology, Stuttgart (Director Prof. Dr. M. Schwab) is operated by the Robert Bosch Foundation. Since its foundation in 1973, the institute has emerged as Germanys largest and most renowned scientific research unit in the field of clinical pharmacology. Main research activities concentrate on the influence of genetic and non-genetic factors on variability of drug efficacy and their contributions to disease development.For a research project investigating cancer therapy and tumor cell biology of renal cell carcinoma. The project will focus on the bioinformatic analysis of transcriptomics data, particularly spatial transcriptomics combined with single cell datasets, as well as spatial multiplex immunofluorescence data. It offers the opportunity to develop novel bioinformatics solutions. Functional studies using 3D tumour cell models complement the data sets in order to enhance our understanding of tumour biology in renal cell carcinoma. The project will be closely linked to clinical aspects of cancer research.
