About the company Our client is a Malaysian construction and civil engineering company that operates mainly in infrastructure roadworks and building projectsJob responsibilities Oversee and manage all civil and structural engineering activities on the railway project site in Penang Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards codes and regulations Coordinate with project managers architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and ensure quality control Prepare and review engineering designs plans and specifications Identify and resolve any engineering issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are strictly adhered to on site Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders Manage project budgets and resources effectively to ensure timely and costeffective project deliveryJob requirements Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and structural engineering with a focus on railway projects Professional Engineer PE certification is preferred Strong knowledge of engineering standards codes and regulations related to railway construction Proven experience in project management and site supervision Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities Proficiency in engineering software and tools Willingness to be based in Penang and travel to project sites as requiredLocationGelugor PenangSalaryUp to MYR 8000 Total PackageConsultant inchargeKah Wai kahwaineohhuntersincom 012 233 3162
