Responsible for producing crosssection images of patients internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues Interprets a physicians scanning instructions administering contrast materials preparing and operating the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images Principal Accountabilities n 1 Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the examn 2 Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards ALARAn 3 Evaluates CT scans for technical qualityn 4 Utilizes EPIC Radiant and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretationn 5 Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injectorn 6 Performs other related duties as assigned
